That recognition also extends to the world’s most renowned design awards. Having received a total of 18 awards in the past 5 years, these are a key indication that Braun watches & clocks are continuing that longstanding legacy.
iF Design Award
One of the most prestigious design competitions in the world - organized every by iF since 1953. A one of a kind opportunity to earn a one of a kind label, recognized by design aficionados the world over. Braun watches and clocks have been awarded a total of 8 iF design awards in the past 5 years.
Red Dot Design Award
The Red Dot Product Design competition has existed since 1954. Its award, the Red Dot, is an internationally recognised quality seal. Awarded by a jury of experts, the internationally organised competition “Red Dot Award: Product Design” appraises the best products of the year. In the past 5 years there have been 5 recipients of the Red Dot Design award in the Braun watches and clocks collection.

Good Design Award
Each year, The Chicago Athenaeum presents the GOOD DESIGN Awards Program for the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs produced around the world. For over seven decades since its inception, The Chicago Athenaeum continues the organization of the program to create a revived awareness about contemporary design and to honour both products and industry leaders in design and manufacturing that have chartered new directions and pushed the envelope for competitive products in the world marketplace.
German Design Award
The German Design Council, the expert for brand and design in Germany, bestows the German Design Award. Commissioned by the highest authority to represent new developments in the German design industry. Established on the initiative of the German Bundestag (the lower house of German parliament) as a foundation in 1953, it supports the industry in all matters consistently aimed at generating an added brand value through design.
